To provide continued support for the Director of the Community-School Partnership at the New Settlement Community Campus. The Campus consists of 3 public schools serving students in grades pre-K through 12, and an adjacent community center. The Partnership provides the framework by which New Settlement Apartments, as the lead community partner for the Campus, can provide a comprehensive range of resources and supports to the students, their parents, and the educators and staff in the partner schools, with the ultimate goal of better ensuring the educational success of the schools’ students. The goal is to align all enrichment and youth development activities with the three schools’ academic goals and objectives, and to create an integral whole that better supports the children and their parents educationally, developmentally, and socially.
