The Manager of GOSO/Works supports clients by collaborating with them to determine the type of environment and job-related tasks best suited to their needs, and preparing them for interviews once a suitable internship has been identified. The Manager engages employers in high-growth industries where jobs suited to the interests and needs of GOSO participants exist, in fields such as healthcare, construction, computer coding, and food and hospitality. GOSO is dedicated to drastically reducing recidivism and further involvement in the criminal justice system among young men aged 16 to 24 through supportive counseling, education, vocational training, and employment services focused on meaningful employment and financial self-sufficiency.
