To support the Director of Clinical Education and Practice, a new leadership position responsible for strengthening clinical training and quality assurance as TAP expands its workforce development initiative. This Director provides strategic oversight of their school-based clinic as well as practicum learning for social work students serving as clinicians-in-training, better ensuring compliance and quality across TAP’s clinical services. The Director will also coordinate group supervision, case conferencing, and supervision toward clinical licensure for staff and trainees. As TAP builds a training pipeline designed to prepare and place diverse social workers in community mental health settings, this role helps to ensure that trainees receive rigorous clinical instruction while maintaining high standards of care for middle school youth. The Director will also oversee emerging clinical needs across sites and support integration with school partners, positioning TAP to responsibly scale its model while addressing the broader shortage and lack of diversity in the youth mental health workforce. The Arthur Project is dedicated to creating a replicable model that professionalizes traditional mentoring by using clinically-focused mentors to work intensively with youth throughout their middle school grades.
